LIONG THE is currently partnering with clients to define the creative direction for a diverse variety of new and exciting fashion and lifestyle brands through core brand development and integrated digital strategy that includes website design and content creation.
He grew up in Antwerp, Belgium and then moved to Montreal, Quebec. After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York, he started his creative career working at Robert Bergman-Ungar, Bloomingdale’s and Laird and Partners.
His design work spans a variety of brands in the global luxury market, as well as campaigns for photography, music and finance. In the publishing world he worked for Spy Magazine and the photographic art magazine Blindspot. And in the music industry he has designed campaigns for En Vogue and legendary musician Ryuishi Sakamoto.
He is proud to have developed and designed some of the most iconic campaigns for many of the major brands in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, including Donna Karen and the Estee Lauder Company. He has art directed extensively for various cosmetic and fragrance brands, including Erminegildo Zegna, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Clinique, Lab Series, Sean John, Missoni and Aramis.
